How to Play and How it Works.

Did you know that all sounds are produced by vibration that you create with your lips while blowing air through a mouthpiece? Well that’s the buzz!

Did you know that the brilliant tone of the trumpet travels through about 6 – ½ feet of tubing bent into an oblong shape? Or that the French horn consists of about 12 feet of narrow tubing wound into a circle? Those are the some of the tubes!

This camp is designed for the beginning student who wants to get a head start on the school year.  During the week, students will be given the opportunity to work on technique, ear training, composition, and improvisation… AND THAT’S THE MUSIC!!
