Anchors away! Run the rigging! Sail the Seas!
Learn about sailing as you build a model sailboat that can be sailed on a pond. Learn common terminology used on a sailing ship. Tie it up with as you learn the basic knots used in rigging and securing a sailing vessel. Model will be made from everyday materials and will include; mast, sails, rigging and weighted keel.
Then on Friday climb aboard the Kalmar Nyckel and be a part of the real deal!
