- Instructor: Ed Schone - A Former math teacher and current science teacher, Ed Schone was a scientific illustrator before entering the education profession. A lifelong passion for astronomy led to an undergraduate major in physics at Rutgers University. After operating two illustration/design businesses, Ed obtained a masters degree in physical science education.
A Collage of Exploration
How could sailors arrive at their destination before a GPS? In this camp, we will understand how the marvelous combination of art and science let man travel to the far reaches of the Earth. Find out how people used natural means and avoided pirates WITHOUT using electronic devices. Creative map-making and Earth science are explored in this camp. Draw and investigate! Learn arty-facts and sound science in the same camp. Awesome! You will love this supernal, artsy and scientific camp!
