Art That Moves
In Art That Moves, students will create two ‘kinetic’ works that involve movement and viewer participation. First, through an exploration of modern art styles and a variety of medium (markers, watercolors, tempera paint and oil pastel) students will create pinwheels. Next, the students will examine opposites to create their own agamograph by drawing two designs on a zigzagged panel, so that the viewer would see one image when the work was viewed from one angle and an entirely different image when the work was viewed from another angle.
