This year we are offering a Show Choir Performance Camp for elementary age kids.  Students will have the opportunity to sharpen their individual and group performance skills as they attend choreography and vocal sessions where they will learn a number of songs to be performed at the end of the camp week. This camp will help students develop discipline, personal responsibility, and the ability to work as a team, while exploring the finer points of dance, vocal technique, and performance skills.

Bambi Johnson has been dancing since the age of two, and has been privileged to perform with Back Alley Dancers, Maryland Ballet, Colin Dunne’s Riverdance and the touring production of Fosse to name a few. She was an NFL cheerleader & dancer, and on the production staff for the NFL Pro Bowl halftime show. Currently, Bambi’s choreography can be seen in many of Maryland’s high schools and community theaters, including Cockpit in Court, Phoenix Festival Theater, DCT & Milburn Stone Theatre, as well as competitive dance teams across the country.  Featured several times in the popular American Cheerleader and Dance Spirit magazines, Bambi is also listed in the national “Who’s Who Among American Dance Directors.”  Recently awarded Broadway World’s 2011 Best Choreography Award for her work on Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, she is extremely delighted to be working with Cab Summer Camps this year!
