How Absurd!
Come learn how to be absurd! And learn why being absurd every once in a while is important. In this one week camp you will be introduced to the theatre of the absurd; a very important movement of theatre from the mid 20th century. Each day we will read a new play, learn about that playwright and why they wrote the quirky things that they wrote. Every wonder how to act in an absurdist play? We will also discover the acting styles behind each play. Playwrights we will cover include Samuel Beckett, Harold Pinter, Eugene Ionesco.
