Art + Kids + Academics (aka FUN)
The Cab Calloway Summer School of the Arts* puts the cool in school. A seven-week program for kids entering third through twelfth grades from anywhere inside or outside the school district , it offers a more dynamic, more rewarding instructional experience than a typical summer camp. Instead of arts and crafts, kids enjoy Arts + Academics — Cab’s tried-and-true formula that fuses together creative skills, processes and academic disciplines. The result: Kids enjoy a summer of minds-on, hands-on learning that will prepare them for the upcoming school year and beyond.
All classes take place on the campus of Cab Calloway School of the Arts located at 100 North DuPont Road, Wilmington, Delaware, 19807.
*Cab Calloway Summer School of the Arts is an independent non-profit company working in partnership with, but not as a part of, the Red Clay Consolidated School District or the Cab Calloway School of the Arts. While enrolling in the classes and programs that CabSummer offers would be great preparation for assessing for admission into the Cab Calloway School of the Arts, taking our courses does not grant you any special treatment in their admission process.
